It's almost here

Fall Ya'll,  It's almost here!!!!
This weekend I was thrilled for the return of College Football, and this Thursday the return of Pro Football!  You see I am in a fantasy football league, I don't know as much about the sport as the guys but I sure give it my best. :)  For me it's more about getting together and having a good time, but this year I'm determined to learn more. Haha  And so with eyes pealed and ears open we embark on Football season! (Happy Dance)
Samuel and I enjoyed our time in Georgia at my parents, for those of you that might be wondering.  Samuel enjoyed helping Nona (my mom) mow the grass on the riding or zero turn mower. haha
They had a blast together!

I loved visiting with and seeing people that I hadn't seen in awhile and introducing Samuel to people that may have seen pictures but never actually met him.  It's a way to remember what amazing things the Lord has done in our lives.  He's brought us through many Challenges and will see us through to completion.  That is very encouraging for me.
August 31st marked a year post surgery and Samuel is doing AMAZING! He had a cardiology appointment on Tuesday of last week and he weighed in at 25.6lbs, big boy! Our Cardiologist said everything looked wonderful and that when they did the EKG it looked like he was pacing 90-100% on his own, so they sent him home on a halter monitor so they could have the cold hard facts and know what was really going on.  I'm hoping for great news and that this means many we would get the pacemaker out much sooner than originally thought, pray that this would be the case!  I am so humbled that the Lord would give me such a cute daily reminder of His greatness and Love for us in Samuel.  Our story could be so very different and yet it's not.  Though it's been and still is at times a challenge, by the grace of God we make it through each day.  The Lord is teaching me so many things, some of which i'm not wanting to learn.
Please pray for me as I desire to Love and serve my Husband and Son in the most God glorifying way that I can, that I would die to self and serve with great Joy.
Ok, on to other things.
Scott had his 26th birthday on the 20th of August, my mom graciously watched Samuel and allowed us to have a few wonderful days in Charleston, SC. We were able to stay with and I also got to meet Scott's Uncle Carl, his lovely wife Tara and their sweet Chocolate lab Bella.  We had a great time!

We came home early due to work related issues for Scott.  But it was a wonderful two weeks for Samuel and Me and a great 4 days for Scott.
Now life is pretty much back to normal.  I'm back to watching Cooper and Samuel is back to all his Therapy.
A big thank you to all the people that follow us and to everyone that has us one prayer lists or is just praying for us personally, I appreciate it more than you know!  I'm hoping to start back to my once a week posts now that things have gotten back to normal.
Oh, for those of you wondering about my dad He's doing really well.  He is starting to get his hair back and looking and feeling great. We had the opportunity to go to one of his treatments while we were visiting.  He and my mom are such an amazing, positive presence at the hospital and the other patients are encouraged to have them around.  I enjoyed talking with a few of the other patients and continuing that positive attitude.
My younger sister Jes and her husband, for those of you that don't know, are expecting a little Girl in December.  They have chosen the name Jane and are very excited about the addition to their family.  So far everything is going very smoothly with her pregnancy and little Jane is developing beautifully.  Please keep them all in your prayers as well that Jes would not take on to much and that they would prepare and enjoy this time and new season of their lives.
Well I am going to close this entry and hope and pray that it finds those reading it well and encouraged.
May your Week be full of Joy! And may you find encouragement in the Lord abundantly.

Much Love to all from Kentucky
The Paige Family
