Feeling nothing but sluggish...uhhh

I have felt nothing but sluggish and slow, the heat sure isn't helping either!  I really think I will be talking to my Endocrinologist when I see him, or whoever I end up seeing on August 3rd.  I absolutely hate feeling this way.  I really think I need to change a lot of my habits too and start working out again.  Just feel tired!
I've taken a few pictures this week but not as many as I should have.  I've been trying to get the house put back together after last weekends switch...proved more difficult than I thought, Samuel was a little difficult this week (he's working on molars.  He's still such a sweet boy though, you'd never know he was cutting teeth.
This week I've loved watching him eat, he gets so happy and funny when he eats...haha He's usually COVERED in food!  This week his favorite thing to eat was blueberries! Blueberries with lunch, in yogurt, whatever, he loved them.
Hopefully i'll have his room cleaned up and put back together before the weekend is over and will be able to post some pictures of that Monday or sometime next week.  All the toys are now in his room!  I'm so excited to have the living areas back to what they were intended for.  Samuel also go a new walker this week, I'll have to take a picture and post that too.  It's Gold...haha  A little better than the sparkly green one he had before.  This one allows him a little more freedom, so far he's not thrilled with it but we've only had it three days.  haha   Time and a visit with Ms. Pat  will tell his true feelings toward it.  I'll keep giving him the option to use it. :)
Hope everyone is staying cool, I keep praying for rain and a little bit of a cool down.  I'm not a fan of 100-104 degree weather.  I'm pretty bummed too that tomorrow is the 1st of July and I still don't have a tan of any kind.  Haha  So very very sad!

Busy Weekend!

 Today Scott and I spent the afternoon moving Samuel into the former spare room and the spare room into Samuel's old room.  So, Samuel got to sleep in our bed surrounded by pillows. He ended up sleeping for 4 or 5 hours. :)  We got a lot done, Thank You Samuel!    The pictures below are of Scott and Samuel on Friday. Samuel had fun helping Daddy put in a new mother board. :)

 This is the new living room lay out...we really like it! haha

 Here is a photo of the spare room, I'm very very happy we switched them.  Not so happy that I have to put everything back together.

We had a great weekend, and managed to get a lot done.  I now have an even busier week ahead of me.

video just for all of you!

Here is a video Scott took yesterday evening.  Samuel loves walking up and down the hall to talk to himself in the large mirror at the end of the hall and look at the pictures of Nona, Granddad, Uncle Blake, Auntie Rachel, and Aunt Birdie (Jes).  He Loves to point to all of them as I say their names, I think he almost has Granddad and especially Nona down.  If I say where's Nona, he most of the time points straight to my mom.  It's so cute. I've heard him say Nona a couple times and something that sounds like Granddad.  We will keep working on all their names.  I'm trying to print out pictures of all his Grandparents, Aunts, and Uncles as well as animals, the house, his bed and a few other things we see often. I have been told by the PT and his DI teacher that this will be very beneficial as well as I would think help him work on recognition.  Hoping to get that done for him in the next week.    I hope you enjoy this video of him walking!  He's getting really good at it.

I've started shadowing 2-3 times a week at the Y and have three classes scheduled to teach on my own in the month of July.  I'm excited and a little nervous.  Keep me in your prayers as I will be teaching a segment in each of the 3 classes i'll be shadowing on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.  All classes are shallow water, low impact and have an older crowd.  But I still want to do the best job I can and give these ladies a great class.
I can't believe it's almost July!  Hopefully everyone has great and festive plans for the 4th.  I'm not sure exactly what we will be doing but we usually get together with some of Scott's friends who do fireworks at their house. :)
Continue to Pray for my dad as he has his CT scan on the 13th of July.  Continue to pray against the Cancer and pray for it's complete elimination!  Samuel and I pray for God to take away Granddads cancer every night and have faith that He will do it.
I've gotten some feedback from people that lets me know that some people are reading this, was never really sure.  If I get behind just send me a email or comment, helps keep me going knowing that people are reading.
I hope you are all having an amazing weekend.  We've been spending most of the day trying to get things organized in our spare room and are moving some things around.  Might try and post pictures if we get things done by the end of the weekend.

Behind, as always!

Well Folks,  no surprise here!  I'm behind on my photos and posting of those photos.  I'm sorry!
Scott got home from being gone for 5 days last Wednesday and though I've taken pictures sense then I've slacked off of taking time during the day to post them.  I'll do better I promise!
So, on that note here are some pictures from the last week.

 

The cake I made Saturday night for Father's Day lunch.  Key Lime cake...it was amazing!  I found the recipe on Pinterest, delicious! 

yes, samuel and I spend a lot of time outside swinging in the front yard...he Loves it.  

We usually spend a little time walking around too, which has been very beneficial for him.

Monday&Tuesday

Monday wasn't  beautiful day, most of it was spent inside.  So, we got bath pictures that didn't turn out great but hey it's a picture.  Haha  So here is the chubby monkey in the bath.

Tuesday we went with Andrea and Cooper to the Zoo! It was Mr. Samuel's first time ever at the Zoo.  We walked around trying to find our way to splash pad that they have there.  It was great and Samuel had a blast playing on the splash pad.  Yes, this is when I can claim he's mine! haha  He absolutely LOVES the water and I love him all the more for that! I'm pretty sure he could have stood there all day splashing and getting sprayed in the face.  And his little laugh made it even better.

 Hope you enjoy these photo's from Monday and Tuesday.  Today's picture will be with Scott because He comes home today from his 5 day Annual Training.  He's been gone sense Saturday and we both sure miss him!

Silly boy Sunday

This photo is for Sunday, haven't gotten today's yet.  After lunch yesterday I had unbuckled him from the highchair and he kept leaning forward like he was trying to make himself fall out and then would start laughing.  haha

So, due to this silly behavior he kept leaning in close to the camera...thus the picture making him look like he has a large head. haha Silly boy!

Sweet Little Feet

This picture is for Friday and Saturday, I somehow ran out of time to get one yesterday.

But this picture is sweet enough for two days! :)

I really want to ask all of you, I'm not really sure how many people read or follow this to PLEASE keep my dad in your prayers!  He isn't getting chemo right now because he has a CT scan scheduled on July 13th and will have the results on the 18th. Please be praying that the Cancer is 100% gone and that it does not return.
Also, pray for me that if it's the Lord's will to not take the cancer away that He would give me peace in His plan for the future.  The though of loosing my dad instantly brings me to tears and makes me hate not being closer to my family.  I wish the drive was shorter and that Samuel could spend time being around his Granddad and Nona.
Thank you, whoever you might be for you prayers!  We serve a Great and Mighty God and He can cure this cancer!

Wonderful Wednesday!

Here is Wednesdays picture...Samuel and I had a fun time taking pictures together. :)

When i started making faces, such as sticking out my tongue and such he would die laughing...it was great!

Oh, I have been officially cleared for hire at the Oldham county YMCA which means I will start shadowing tomorrow and then start teaching next month it looks like.  Pray for me, I'm really nervous as I am with most new things.  haha

Tuesday :)

Tuesday was a little rough for me, still thinking about the Pediatricians appointment from the day before but this sweet face helps make it so much better. :)  Samuel reminds me everyday that God is a great God who still works in our lives. Only because of him are we able to face each day!

Yesterday was a rough day.  Samuel had his 18 month appointment, though I am normally super excited and thrilled to get all the stats on him this time I couldn't help but only hear the negative things.  Samuel has made so much progress for where we could be, but if you look at what a "normal" 18 month old child should be do I suddenly get tears in my eyes and get of the feeling of we will never get there.  It's easy until i'm reminded, then it just gets a little sad and depressing.  But God is and will continue to supply everything we need to get through every single day.  The days aren't always fun and easy but we get through them.
Continue to pray that I would look only to Christ for my joy and strength.That I would rejoice in everything and hold fast to the blessings and not dwell on the negative.
Here are pictures from the last three days...i'll try and post today's some time this evening so i don't get behind.
Oh, Samuel was 29 1/2in, 22.12lbs(32%), and his head circumference was 17 1/4.  Of all of those he is now in a percentile for his weight, so we are very encouraged by that. :)

 These are the pictures from Saturday, I put my hat on him...He melts my heart! So cute!

 The one of Samuel is from yesterday, monday.  It was a gloomy day so we stayed inside not as many cute photo ops.  haha

This is from Sunday! Scott, Evan, and Cliff Hilton, all guys from church helped Scott get the rest of the muck and nasty stuff out of the bottom of the pool.  The liner is now completely out and we can have someone come and look at it.  Praying it's not to terribly expensive and that we can save the necessary money to have it up and running by next summer.

On Wednesday we had some pretty bad thunderstorms roll through in the morning, I thought it was hailing at one poing...but it was only this frog jumping at the back door. haha
