Holy Smokes Batman!!!!

I had to share the amazing news! So, here it is...Samuel is 18lbs 1.5oz and 27.5in long!!!!!!!!!! The only reason we know this is because we met with his First Steps Nutritionist yesterday, they weigh and measure him every time they visit. His last visit which was in November he was 16lbs, can't remember the ounces. So he gained right at a pound and a half I think. He is now proportional which is wonderful as well as gaining on being in a percentile...Praise the Lord!!!

Samuel is 13 months old today and I'm excited to say that with the Lord we continue to get stronger, more mobile and obviously fatter...haha He is now on whole milk and people food only and eats everything so far! Makes me so happy! :)

Our Christmas and New Years we lovely family time here in Kentucky. Only complaint is that we haven't really had a white winter and it's been unseasonably warm. I enjoy snow so this has been a little depressing. I was super happy when we got a light dusting yesterday on and off.

We hope that every one of you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year. I pray that 2012 brings wonderful things for you and your families but mostly I pray that it would be a year that the Lord draws you to Himself and allows you to delight in Him everyday.  May you know the peace and satisfying joy that only Christ can bring this year and every year from here out. 
My number one New Years resolution is to leave 2011 in 2011 and start fresh, delighting in the Lord and growing in my relationship with him daily.  I have allowed life to become my focus, surviving day to day instead of clinging to the Cross, delighting in a God who knows me so well and provides for my every need.  May you Know the comfort that only comes from Christ Jesus this year.
